As the title implies, my summer just got completely full in the past week. Last week marked the beginning of all of Impact's (our college ministry) summer activities. This involves a prayer meeting on Mondays, and discipleship class on Tuesdays, and a eat/message/chill night on Wednesdays.
That wasn't too bad at first, since I wasn't doing anything else for the summer, but yesterday I got offered my first job (yay). I'll be working as a clerk/paid intern in the Security department of the Federal Trade Commission office, so it's basically my first legit office job. It pays well and it'll look good on my resume, but there are still two problems with it:
1. It's a full 8-hour workday, 8am-4:30pm. 5 days a week. Essentially a full-time job.
2. It's freaking in the middle of DC.

I mean I guess I knew that when I applied for it, but I don't want to have to deal with driving there and back EVERY DAY. ugh.
Regardless of those problems, I'm still gonna take it. Like I said, it pays well and I really need some kind of work experience as I've never had a job before. Anyways, wish me luck as I start next Monday!

NICE NICE~
yeah metro is the way to go.
I thought it was just me but it wasn't: that suddenly everything is getting so much busier. I feel like it just crept up on me, and thats without even having a job. I want one but I do not have time in my schedule for the summer (too many gaps AKA too many play trips HAHA)
regardless, it's awesome to hear you got a job. now it's my turn to get organized.
MAKE BANK, don't spend it all at once
remember sharing is caring future roommate :) HAHA
